The Items: Moon / Lo que sueño

We’re starting with the bucket hat. Wow! I loved it. My favorite piece of clothing has always been denim. And I had it stuck in my head (as they say when you’re really set on something) to see that fuchsia moon with the cerulean edge on a dark blue denim fabric. You have no idea how many times I mentioned that to my fiancé. Until one day I sat down to search and found a supplier that could make it happen.

I took the chance to order another sample, this time on a light denim cap. I loved both! When we opened the packages, I couldn’t stop laughing. My close friends even have the video of my reaction. I’ll admit, I’ve barely worn them because I wanted the shop to be ready, so if someone asked me where I got it, I could tell them everything.

Next up is the can-shaped glass. I can tell you; I’ve wanted one ever since I first saw this concept of a glass shaped like a soda can, years ago. My favourite drink comes in a can. If you haven’t noticed, everything I make is connected to me. It’s not random. So, I ordered the can-shaped glass, which you can get with or without a lid and straw.

Then we get to the t-shirts. The oversized one was suggested by my art coaches, but it reminded me of my fiancé at my 30th birthday celebration. He bought an oversized t-shirt with this sort of street look cargo pants and skater sneakers that had me swooning. So that became one of the pieces too. For those of you who love comfort and style.

And the last item is a crop top. If I told you I’ve never owned a crop top, would you believe me? And if I told you the first crop top, I ever had was one I made by cutting a regular t-shirt, would you believe that? Well, that’s been my story with crop tops. When I put it on, I felt cool, relaxed, different, and a little free. Confident in my body, and if a little bit of my belly peeked out, that was okay.
